100 years of Homecoming....

This year was the 100th year of Baylor's Homecoming Celebration. Josh and I both loved our time at Baylor and are so thankful for the friends we made there. We hadn't made it out to bonfire in a few years but I'm so glad we hustled down Friday evening to get there. Noah loved the fireworks and the big fire. It was also good to catch up with some old friends.
The next morning we headed to campus bright and early for the parade.

Neither of us really saw much of the parade as we caught up with people and took turns trying to catch up with Noah as he ran around.

After the parade, Noah got his first taste of a Baylor Dr. Pepper float from Dr. Pepper hour. Needless to say, he loved it!

Josh headed over to Floyd Casey to watch the football game while Noah and I went back to the hotel for a nap. After the game we went to Holly and Matt Burchett's for Geoff and Ellen's wedding shower. I met Geoff during my first days at Baylor and he was in Josh's fraternity. We're from the same hometown but went to different high schools. We are so excited about Geoff and Ellen's wedding. We think they are great together.

Noah loved running around Matt and Holly's house and big backyard with the other "Phi Chi babies"---Emory Crownover and Beckett Rakes. Somehow I only mangaged to snap a few pics of Noah though with no little friends in sight. Bummer!!

Overall it was a wonderful weekend and I look forward to next year....although it might be complicated with 2 kids. Maybe we'll bring a babysitter along. (Hint, Hint, Mom.)
